DTSI’s
role at the 554th Electronic Systems Group encompassed the
development and sustainment support of the Military Personnel Data System (MILPDS)
– an Air Force wide, enterprise-scale military system. MilPDS is one of the
world's largest Oracle HR implementations, involving over 100 military
subsystems and in excess of 500,000 business rules, supporting all active
duty and retired USAF members.
DTSI's diverse team of technical professionals provided on-site support for
all aspects of the entire software development life cycle. Our support
included E-Business suite development, platform migration and transformation
solutions, while leveraging state-of-the-art tool capabilities to continue
modernization for the entire suite of MILPDS applications.
DTSI personnel actively pursue integration of
reusable .Net and Java development solutions with the objective of
integration into the existing Air Force and DOD IT architecture and working
seamlessly into the constantly changing customer data implementation
strategy and GCSS-AF framework, which include as an example, over 200
web-based applications. Additionally, our end-to-end customer support
included development and implementation of middleware
services required by large-scale applications, providing enterprise-level
security to numerous Air Force and DOD customers.
During sustainment, DTSI continues to support MilPDS by operating our tiered
help-desk support operations providing 24 x 7 support for warfighters
worldwide whom depend upon the mission-critical applications managed by
MILPDS.
Because of our dedication to quality and service, DTSI is proud of our
“exceptional” CPARS ratings, validating our value by our customer, in
support of this mission-critical Air Force personnel system.
